Visiting hours will be Monday from 2 to 5 PM at Dorsey.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff. A private interment to follow at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury, NY.
The family welcomes friends to pay their respects at the visitation and funeral mass, but do not expect friends to make the long trip to the cemetery.

Mary J. Ford (Mae) of Scarborough, NY died on January 10, 2014. Mae was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 7, 1920 to William and Evelyn Ford (nee Miller). In earlier years, Mae lived in New York and California, and she resided in Scarborough, NY for the last 35 years. Mae retired from International Paper Company in 1982 after 25 years. She held several managerial positions. Upon retirement, Mae served as a member of the Phelps Hospital Auxiliary for over 20 years. She took great pride in helping others while fulfilling a lifelong dream of being part of the medical profession.
Mae is predeceased by her parents and brother Bill, and is survived by her sister Barbara and her large multi-generational immediate and extended family  
Mae’s greatest joy was her family and friends and she loved nothing more then to be surrounded by them. She will always be remembered for her wonderful smile and the unconditional love she showered on everyone she knew.
