Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Dorsey.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine’s Church.
Interment Private.

Arthur W. Schmidt – 81– passed-away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Art was born in Ossining on March 17, 1939 and was the son of the late John and Barbara (Glomann) Schmidt.
Art’s parents, who met on a ship when they emigrated from Germany, settled in Ossining and raised their family.
Art was a graduate of Ossining High School in 1957 where he excelled in all sports and then served with the National Guard. Gifted with a creative mind and artistic eye, he attended the School of Visual Arts in N.Y.C. graduating in 1961.
He then founded Guild Concepts in Pleasantville and led the company as Art Director.
He was a lifelong member of St. Augustine’s Parish, a dog lover and an avid skier.
Arthur married Roberta Schmidt on October 11, 1980.
Mr. Schmidt is survived by his loving and very caring wife Roberta, his two beloved daughters Gayle (Christopher) Greves, and Nadine (Dennis) Santucci and granddaughter Lillie Santucci; his brother Walter (Terri); and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers John and Richard.
