Catherine graduated Ossining High School in 1965, where after she worked at Ossining’s Lindy’s Home Fashions until she moved to Poughkeepsie in 1981, were she became a parishioner at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie. After attaining the necessary credit towards her T.A. Cathy’s biggest joy was derived by her cherished son Ronnie, her backyard pool and plentiful gardening of flowers top the list of her happiness. She also enjoyed crafting, loved music and dancing, decorating, shopping (biddy-bopping around town and loved to be “in-style”), painting ceramics, traveling to warm and exotic places, the holidays and family gatherings. Cathy particularly enjoyed Halloween at her home where she greeted all her students (past and present) where she celebrated with friends, family and her treasured neighbors.
What made Cathy so special is how accepting she was to all, her love and friendship was limitless, and she was always available to those who chose to share in her world.
