Her favorite song was undoubtably "Over the Rainbow" by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Anna Mae was a fan of Singers Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Cash, The Beatles and Charles Aznavour. She can actually be seen in a documentary about Frank Sinatra, jumping and screaming with excitement in the front row of a Sinatra concert at the Paramount in New York.  Her favorite actors were Rutger Hauer,  Marlon Brando and Bette Davis.  She particularly liked Davis films "Now Voyager" and "What ever happened to baby Jane".  She enjoyed crafts including creating Christmas table center pieces with pine cones and other organic found objects,  crocheting and abstract drawing.  She loved swimming and had served as a lifeguard at a pool in Bronx during her teen years.
